Meet The Founder
COGI is led by Gilles Dumont, a logistics professional with over 37 years of domestic and international logistics experience. He brings to the company extensive knowledge, experience and vast connections in logistics, his expertise spans from ocean freight (container, break bulk, bulk), trucking (drayage, FTL, LTL, Intermodal, Heavy Haul, Over Dimensional), to transloading, handling warehousing to rail and air freight. Throughout his career, he has worked to build relationships based on trust, mutual respect and experience.
Dumont has served as President of Minerva International Freight Forwarding Association (MIFFA), as well as on the board of the American Institute of International Steel (AIIS), and was recognized by the Foundation du College Francois De Laval Golf Tournament as a President of Honor in 2015, among numerous other associations and recognitions.
